This unique bike has two lockable storage boxes along the sides of the rear for smaller items. The seat has an unique sliding function that allows it to move fore and aft about 6 inches to adjust for leg and arm lengths of various riders.

The buyer can have semi knobby tires or the less rough street tires at his option. The front fender can be a raised 2 inches (110 mm) at the buyer's option. (Bikes on this page are shown with the street tire option and low front fender position)

Do not worry about getting stranded on some back road with this bike. It has the largest battery capacity of any electric motor scooter on the market. 4.32 Kw peak capacity of lithium battery. On dirt roads in testing the bike was able to run distances exceeding 70 miles (113 km).

This bike has a special extremely high torque electric motor for maximum hill climbing ability. It has the ability to hold full power for 10 minutes without overheating.

Do not worry about getting stranded on some back road with this bike. It has the largest battery capacity of any electric motor scooter on the market with 4.32 Kwh (5100 model), 5.04 Kwh (6100 model) capacity lithium battery. On dirt roads in testing the 5100 model bike was able to run distances of 70 miles / 113 km. The 5.04 Kwh capacity Model 6100 has run 85 miles / 137 km in dirt road testing. ZEV also offers controllers for the motors in different amp ranges so that the owners can obtain even more range if they do not need exceptional torque. This option can stretch range to 100 miles in certain conditions on the 6100.

This bike has a special, extremely high torque electric motor for maximum hill climbing ability. Torque 248 Nm (183 lb ft) as the standard motor. The model 6100 model uses this same motor, but the customer has the Option of a higher speed motor that yields to 63 mph / 101 Kph at the sacrifice of some torque. If your terrain is mostly flat or rolling hills, this option allows more speed and a range gain.

What differentiates the 5100 from the 6100 is the battery capacity which allows longer range and speed in the 6100. The larger battery capacity in the 6100 makes this vehicle heavier than the 5100. The 6100 weighs 394 lbs reducing its payload to 365 lbs (760 lbs vehicle gross weight). This bike can still then carry two 183 lb riders.
